Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the factors that can influence student investment interest in the capital market, to find out what are the factors that influence student investment interest that are the most dominant, which are thought to influence student investment interest in the capital market in this study, namely minimum capital knowledge return risk and motivation. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for learning or evaluation in increasing student investment interest in conventional capital markets. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach using a questionnaire or survey method. The population of this study were active students of the Management study program at the Institut Santi Buana class of 2019-2021 who were taken randomly from 99 students or respondents. The technique used in collecting data in this study is using a questionnaire that is distributed directly to the respondents. The results of this study are investment knowledge has a positive but not significant effect on student investment interest in conventional capital markets, the minimal model has a positive but not significant effect on student investment interest in conventional capital markets. return has a positive and significant effect on student investment interest in conventional capital markets, risk has a positive and significant effect on student investment interest in conventional capital markets, motivation has a positive and significant effect on student investment interest in conventional capital markets.
