Student Behavior From Environmental Care At Adiwiyata Schools In South Kalimantan
AbstractStudent Behavior from the Aspect of Concern for the Environment in Adiwiyata Schools in South Kalimantan. This study aimed to describe student behavior from caring for the environment at Adiwiyata schools in South Kalimantan. This study used a qualitative approach. The data in this study included (1) data on Adiwiyata schools/madrasas that received awards, both at the municipal/district, provincial and national levels in South Kalimantan. (2) data on student behavior from caring for the environment at Adiwiyata schools. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted randomly with six teachers at Adiwiyata schools. Two teachers take each school level. In addition, interviews were conducted with six people from the parent's side of the students at random. Each level of school was represented by two people from the parents' side for documentation collected from data and articles accessed online. The results of this study are as follows. (1) less than 25% of schools/madrasas in South Kalimantan at each school level participate in the Adiwiyata Program. However, these schools have received certificates of appreciation at the municipal/district, provincial and national levels, (2) Student behavior at the SD/MI, SMP/MTS, and SMA/SMK/MAN levels in Kalimantan South shows very well. Likewise, student activities at home have demonstrated excellent behavior as well.
