The Effect Of Work Environment And Compensation On Organizational Citizenship Behavior With Organizational Commitment As A Mediation Variable

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of work environment and compensation on organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. This research using quantitative method. This research was conducted at Bumi Sebalo Hospital Bengkayang on 67 contract nurses using the census method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale, data were analyzed using path analysis through the SPSS version 25 program. Based on the results of the study it was found that the work environment had a direct and significant effect on organizational commitment, compensation had a direct and significant effect on organizational commitment, the work environment has a direct and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment has a direct and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior whereas compensation has no effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Work environment and compensation significantly influence organizational citizenship behavior through organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The limitation of this research is that this research only focuses on contract nurses so that the results of this study have not been able to explain other employees who work at Bumi Sebalo Bengkayang Hospital.References
