One of the determining factors of the organization is the leadership style on the quality of human resources. Human resource management has a big role in organizational development. In this study, the researcher wanted to analyze the role of the leader's leadership style in church activities at the Santo Thomas Sebente Station, in the border area. The lack of community involvement in participating in church activities is allegedly the result of the leadership style of the congregation leader. Therefore, researchers want to analyze the leadership style that exists at the Santo Thomas Sebente Station. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that focuses on case studies. The research approach was carried out by observing and in-depth interviews with 2 members of the adherent who were active in the service of the state and the newly elected head of the adherent. The results of the study show that the leadership style of the leader of the people is less able to motivate the people because of a lack of spiritual and psychological encouragement and discipline.
